I have decided a name for the baby quaker ... that I will be getting soon from a friend (met thru the web/fids) who is giving me one of the babies from her last clutch of quakers... I was offered one not long after they hatched...

After thinking about this for almost a month... the name came to me a couple of days ago... and I thought I would share with ya'll...

The name.... "Spirit".........

and the name is even gender neutral...

Since my Mom passed... I have been listening several time a day... to the old R & R song.... "Spirit in the Sky".... thinking of my Mother...

As it is getting closer to time to go to visit my freind who live out of town from me and get to meet her in person and the baby quaker..... then realized that has not even decided on a name for the baby quaker yet.......
I have a new cage ready.. perchs in place toys made... but NO name for the poor baby....

The song was playing.. thought of the name "Spirit"...... and it just felt RIGHT.....

Given in the "spirit of freindship" ...... and the next fid after Mom's passing..

Sooo ..
