Patti finding out does not make it easier, but you did everything you could for Cosmos. He passed to rainbow bridge knowing how loved and treasured he is and not all who pass have that knowledge.

Your new baby will never take his place in your heart, you'll always remember and love Cosmos. The new baby will make a new place in your big heart.

As for names, my guys get named for their behavioral traits or coloring, etc. I can never prename my babies. I always needed to meet them and observe them and then try out the name and see if it sticks.

I agree with everyone else. You did everything you could for Cosmo, stop beating yourself up about it. He was loved and he knew it. They are right no one can take away your memories and all the happy times. (((HUGS)))

Patti, I am glad you got the results back and you know its safe to bring another one home. Asper is horrible disease. It doesnt have the interest the other diseases do to help find a definite cure. Unfortuately, you will never know where it came from.
