Ahh.... kind of like hunting whales or killing bald eagles for some cultures, huh? It all sucks, imho, and shouldn't be allowed, no matter how much "culture" it has. Just because a certain group of people make a habit of something doesn't always make it right or acceptable.

I've heard of it happening mostly in SE Asia. You see flyers sometimes on Khao San Road in Bangkok. Very sad.

The more I read up on this issue the more upset I get.
Seems these folks that fight these birds even mount razor blades onto the legs of these birds, its a bloody mess.
What some humans are capable of doing simply overwhelms me.

Funny how they claim cultural...but it only = $$$$$. People are sick sick sick. If they want to make money on fighting then they should be the ones in the ring inflicting the wounds on each other. Or better yet dip one of those idiots in a bath of blood, and let a pit bull loose on them. See how they like it!
