Default Cleaning Frequency

How often do you all clean cages and give fresh water? I clean all 4 every day, complete wipe down and fresh paper on the tray. Fresh water 2x per day sometimes more if they dunk or bathe in it. Standing perches/gyms are wiped down with fresh paper on the bottom every night while they have treat bowls in their cages before bedtime.

Fresh papers in cage daily (I line the top of the grate with papers so I never have to clean the grate- it's wonderful!). Fresh water every morning, more if it gets dirty but it rarely does (Ollie isn't a food dunker or a bowl bather). Cage bars, perches, toys, gyms cleaned every weekend. I just don't have the time to do it more often (nor the inclination, to be very honest). She has so many play gyms (5 at the moment) that the poop gets spread pretty evenly throughout so no 1 gets too dirty in a weeks time.

Cage paper is changed every two days. Water 2xs or daily. Treats will hold at least the dried fruits stuff so they hold for a few days. With the UB I give her new food with the cage change. The grate is every week and vaccuming is done after I change the cage. Pearches are as needed. She's good about not pooping on them now.

Every day complete wipe down, grate and all, fresh paper. Water 2X's a day. Playstand every night with fresh paper. Kitchen floor, cabinets, walls, and the refigerator door every night due to thrown sweet potatoes, peas, tomatoes and anything else that was on the menu.

papers are changed once a day or every other day depending on the mess! i scrub the grates on the cages daily. i do cage "deep cleaning" once a month, along with the washable toys. i clean the bowls daily each morning, water is changed out at least once a day, sometimes 2. ivy drinks most of her water with her meals outside of the cage.

I give fresh water every day. More if it gets diryty but that is rare. I clean the cage at least 1x a week but if they are molting and there is a lot of feathers and dust , more frequently.

Cages and grates are washed everyday. Play enclosures every day. Floors are washed and vacuumed everyday. Play stands are washed everyday. Geesh, everything is washed at least once everyday, sometimes more.

Water, OMG, minimum twice a day in play enclosures, twice on play stands and fresh water in sleep cage at night. Food bowls are done 3 times a day. Thank goodness I only have 2.

Leigh you're making me tired thinking about all this. Plus I watched the twins all day today! It will be take-out for dinner though!

i give fresh water in morning and in evening.. food dishes (seeds) at night.. right now we have little feathers everywhere so vacummm daily.. or when necessary.. wipe down cage tray daily ... and wash every second day.. change places where they roost more than once a day.. i do put brown paper down under where they sit on partition so that all i need to do is remove the paper and put fresh down... for two keets there isnt that much but enough that it needs cleaning...... fairly regularily..

Fresh papers in cage everyday, water replaced at least twice a day. Because of the water restrictions, I can't go out and clean the cages (hose a scrub brush) unfortunatly, so I wipe them down with hot water and a rag.
