Weekly major cage cleaning.. (I have aviary wire flight cages, 3 ft x 3 ft x 2 ft ... home made).. straight vinegar followed by wire brush (for any zinc residue).. rinse... soapy bleach water another scrub.. and then triple rinse and sun dry..

vinegar & peroxide sprays on veggies... rinse to wash vinegar off..

1/4 vinegar with 3/4 water.... couple of drops each of bleach and dawn for food/water bowls/dishes and bottles... scrub... rinse well and let air dry over night...

I think that covers the cleaning here...

I tried GSE.. and had allergic reaction.. so gave bottle to breeder friend...

Why do you use a vinegar/water MIX for everyday cleaning? How come you don't just use straight vinegar?

And what exactly is the vinegar/peroxide spray? Cleans the vegetables? What ratios of each?

I use Cage Wizard or Canopy when I can get it. Also Canopy makes a spray for the cage to help poop and other good stuff not stick so badly. Makes clean up easier.

I want more options!! I use several different things to clean cages with, and you want me to vote on just one? Lol.
Vinegar, dish soap, F10SC.

As a disinfectant I use bleach and water. To remove the poop, I use Avitech's Avi-Clean. I think the Avi-Clean works better than the Poop Off.

I have a spray bottle with vinegar/water mix in it..... equal amounts... spray to soften poop and loosen, wipe and spray again to get rest and make sure the vinegar killed bacteria..

Straight vinegar tries to melt a spray bottle if left in for storage and creats more zinc (white powder) leatching if used during week... with the aviary wire cages... I only use straight vinegar when will be followed by wire brush scrubbing for this reason....also the birds do not care for the straight vinegar... the strength seems to bother them if I use it straight in the same room with them..

Here is link to article about the vinegar/peroxide and use with cleaning veggies..
