I love it. I actually started using it a long time ago and even converted the bird shop I worked at to using it. It is great to get gunk off, has no chemical odor, safe around and on the birds, even a little disinfectant action - though not much. Oh and you can even take a shower with it - nothing much better than that.

Merlin left a little deposit on the carpet in an out of the way spot that I had noticed about a week ago but kept forgettting to clean it. I gave it one squirt with poop-off and it came completely out less than an minute later, I was very impressed!

I always keep a bottle of Poop Off on hand. Like Sally said it works awesome for the 'spots' you didn't see until they turned to concrete! You just need to give it 30-60 seconds to dissolve it and then you usually can just wipe it up with a paper towel.

I use cage wizard. It seems to work nicely! Oh and it is designed to kill certain bird diseases.

Wink Re: Cleaners

vinegar /water mix equal portions in spray bottle for daily cage wipedowns.. with paper towel clean up then paper change...

Vinegar/water spray for birdy accidents... with paper towel again...

Weekly major cage cleaning.. (I have aviary wire flight cages, 3 ft x 3 ft x 2 ft ... home made).. straight vinegar followed by wire brush (for any zinc residue).. rinse... soapy bleach water another scrub.. and then triple rinse and sun dry..

vinegar & peroxide sprays on veggies... rinse to wash vinegar off..

1/4 vinegar with 3/4 water.... couple of drops each of bleach and dawn for food/water bowls/dishes and bottles... scrub... rinse well and let air dry over night...

I think that covers the cleaning here...

I tried GSE.. and had allergic reaction.. so gave bottle to breeder friend...
