I love poop off, but why use it when you can get vinegar and hot water for way way less money.

I use white vinegar and water threw(bathroom,kitchen,etc) the whole house...

I use Vanodine daily and Poop Off once in a while. Both seem to work just as easily.

Avicine- is a Chlorine Dioxide I've heard it has even been used for anthrax cleanup and there is no need to rinse.

Those of you who use Poop-Off, does it really dissolve the stuff so it just wipes off or do you have to scrub it off? And do the other products have the same result? My stuff works OK and it is a disinfectant too but I still need to scrub. I am looking for a lazier solution.

Tiki, I don't use Poop-Off, but I can confirm that undiluted plain old white vinegar will dissolve the poop - I just spray it on wait a few minutes and wipe off - On occassion I may have to spray 2 times or even three if Ro has secretly deposited one on the floor someplace that I don't find for a day or two.

Vanodine...been using it since the early 1990's without any problems.

for daily cleaning of bowls and toys, I use Ivory dish soap and mix Vanodine into it.

In my 31 year of bird keeping, I have used Bleach, and GSE also.....but ALWAYS keep Vanodine in the house, and use it above all others.

Last I remember the vanodine would leave a yellosh tint to stuff after constant repeated use. Is it still the yellow liquid or have they changed it since then?

Still yellow, but I never had it leave a tinge to anything unless it was white and porous.

not jsut aussie... i use F10 here every time i clean out the cages as a disinfectant! it is brilliant!
