I am curious to know what frequencies a bird can hear. The reason behind this is I need some means of recalling Peanut. Would a dog whistle work or is there something better to train him with. It has to be something that would work over a distance.
There are two types of dog whistles, my aunt had two, the silent one, and one that makes a noise on a frequency we can hear, I know that doesn't answer your question but I figured I'd throw it out there.
I need something people can't hear. I can't be annoying people by making a noise. He loves the supermarket best but he has taken a fly around before. Also if I choose to fly him outside I needs it to be something he can hear further than my voice. My dogs go deaf when they get too far from me, I know they can hear me because they look at me, just fail to respond. I don't know if Peanut also gets deaf if I am too far. He does not come always if I am in another room. I don't want to shout. I am fairly certain he has a good set of ears because he can hear visitors long before I can.
