Hi all. We are going camping this weekend and I am wondering if any of you could give me some traveling advice? I have her travel cage all ready, towels, food, treats, toys, her hoopball, carrier, spring water. Anything I've missed? She is clipped but will be in her travel cage or carrier outside of the camper. It should be fun and I am hoping she will have fun as well! She does great with other women, but men...um....that's another story! We're working on it! Hubby & son get their noses so out of joint when a new female she's never met before asks to hold her and she steps right up! LOL. Poor guys. Thanks in advance for the travel advice!

I feel for your hubby and son! Hopefully with time she'll at least accept the 2 of them.

Sorry I dont know a thing about camping. Does camper mean like an inside room? She may not be too happy about sleeping "outside" since they know they're prey. So if it seems like "outside" I'd cover her.

I'd also caution you against using smelly bug repellent or citronella, even though don't you need that stuff out there?

One thing I would be very careful about is mosquitoes. I don't take Gracie outside at dusk because I'm so afraid she'll be bitten. And who knows what kind of diseases they could spread.
