Last year, when I was fostering the IRNs, I wasn't sure how they would react if one of the tiels landed on top of their cage, if the tiels were out and the IRN was in its cage. So I took a thick old bath towel and put it on top of the cage. Sure enough, one of the tiels flew right on top of it. Nothing happened.
Now when the IRN decided to explore the top of the tiels cage, the boys got all huffy so I removed the IRN and put it back on the playgym instead.

Jack had a black eye once. He was absolutely fine. Our AV said to not put anything on it or near it and that it would heal up fast on its own.

valo's eye is looking good this morning... so called the vet and cancelled the appointment - there wouldn't be anything to look at

gini - i'll try the towel thing... sounds like a good plan... especially since it's only valo who's flighted....

I would still like to see them together in a nuetral area so they get to know each other. I think they would learn to get along.

he may have just lightly scratched is eye,the cornea. cuddles did that last summer. she kept acting something was bugging her. for coulpe weeks but all is well. it would be like us slightly get a scratch on our eye it is touchy and irrated but the cornea heals really fast. like 3-5 days
