Boarding help needed Hi everyone,
I am hoping to go back to England for a week at Christmas, but that means I have to find a place to board my 2 darling ekkies.
(Leo, my little Princess Parrot, is so easy to live with, that I have many offers from trusted friends to watch him).
My avian vet does boarding, and I know that if I choose that, the birds will be safe and well treated, but I don't think they get much stimulation.
Does anyone know where or how I might start looking for a boarding place? Lisa B gave me the number of an avian vet tech who does boarding in her home, but the woman had a recent family tragedy and isn't watching birds at the moment.
I'm in Philadelphia, and I'm willing to drive fairly far if it means a good place for my birds.
Any advice most gratefully received. |
