Susan, I am new to this site but I had to send this note to you ,I am a new bird owner and if this happened to me I would be devastated. Pls don't think I am intruding or some kind of religious nut but I promise you that the St Anthony prayer ALWAYS works for me AND for the skeptics that I told when mentioning a loss. It doesn't matter what faith u are but you MUST believe that the prayer will work or it won't. I promise if you believe it works it will work for you,no matter how long it takes.......Dear St Anthony pls come around, Blue is lost and cannot be found. Repeat and believe as often as you can and he will find his way home when you least expect it. Pls try, what can it hurt?

So glad to have you here on PC. We are like one big family here.

Well...this is the sixth day Blue has been gone.
I have posted on every site I can think of.
I put ads in two local papers.
I have put up posters everywhere.
Visited Vets and pet shops.
I have worn myself out searching...

BLUE IS NOT COMING HOME!

GOOD BYE BLUE....THE KIDS & I WILL MISS YOU ALWAYS

He might have been found by someone who is not a bird person or computer literate and is just keeping him. One day a tiel flew on the shoulder of one of my students while waiting for her ride home in the carpool line. They just took it home with them and didn't think twice about finding the owner. It was the "new friend" for their other tiel, at home.

Which I suppose is a better scenario than some others, inconsiderate, but, a year later ,she still had the tiel.

I agree Susan. I don't remember if you said you knocked on every door in your neighborhood and/or left a note on each door with large species specific reward offered. If not, I would do that - every single house. Still hoping & praying for Blue's return.
