Keep looking and keep hoping, Susan. I feel so bad for your grandson as well, he must feel terrible about it. Thoughts and prayers for you both, and especially for little Blue.

I feel in my heart of hearts that Blue will come home, or be found. Keep positive, and so shall we. All these positive thoughts will be like a beacon guiding Blue home.

You're in my prayers Susan. Maybe if you have another one out in the cage he can call for him.

Susan I am sorry to say that I have had this happen twice to me. Once with a bCC and once with a B&G.
Now on to the good news...the B&G was rescued from a tree up the street and recovered in 1 hour.

The BCC was missing for over 24 hours. We would hear her in the trees saying hello and whistling and calling. Finally she came to my hubby when he held a cup with treats in it at the bottom of the tree she was in. We were lucky as we have a large hawk population here.

My point is DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE! Blue will most likely return when he gets hungry.
