Hi folks:
someone has offered me a 6 year old blue front Amazon, female. I have had experience with a 23 year old yellow nape and even though it was challenging at times, I enjoyed his intellect and interacting with him.
Any insights into blue fronts??? how do they compare to a yellownape?

I have had little experiacne with them, but from the limited experiance I have has, the Blue fronts are sweet. They are slightly less hormonal than the yellow napes, from what I have heard.

Any news on how Cecil and his owners are getting along? You did spoil the fid!

My female BF is the cat's pyjamas. She's sweet and ornery and funny. She's affectionate and intelligent.

That's exactly what I have heard and experianced with them all. I have also heard the females are more cuddly and the males have a mroe playful personality.

Cecil is doing fine, thanks for asking. YES I DID spoil that burd.
WE had fun though, well...except for the finding out he was a diabetic and all, yikes, but that's another story.
