Default Birdie Weights

It's sometimes hard to find good information out there about how much a certain species should weigh... so I thought it would be worth to post the weights of our birds, just to give us and newer members a feel of where our birds stand wrt to their weight (diet or feast?!) Maybe you can also mention the range in which the bird should be if you happen to know it.
Also, how often do you weigh your birds?

valo - greencheek conure (60-70g is what i read, i should write 60-75g so it doesn't appear that valo's fat which he's not):
68g (and gaining those 2 grams from 66g in the last 4mths was a challenge )
i weigh valo every day in the morning after his poop and keep a weight dairy for him, it's part of the routine

bella - sun conure (110-130g):
116g
BF needs a scale... this is the weight she had 2 mths ago, and i bet she's gained a bunch spoiled as she is

Jerry weighs a consistent 33 grams. I believe that budgies (American budgies anyways, not sure about English budgies since they are considerably larger..) can range from 25-35 grams.

Lulu weighs 98 grams. I believe that tiels can range from 85-105 grams. My AV has told me that I have an overall larger female tiel, but she is not overweight.

I try to weigh them every two weeks or so. Lulu's weight has fluctuated a bit during her transition of becoming fully flighted. She was exercising more as her flights were growing in, and then she gained more muscle I believe. But now she is at a consistent 98 grams.

Ollie- CAG- 437 grams (I believe the range for CAGs is 400-650...I just did a search and found that it differs a lot between sites. It seems the consensus is anywhere from 380-650)
Dakota- cockatiel- 101 grams

Dakota lives with my parents, so he only gets weighed every once in awhile. Ollie gets weighed at least once a week. When she was younger I weighed her every day.

A weighing tip: Always weigh your birds first thing in the morning after their big morning poop, and before they eat anything. Their weight varies so much during the day that unless you do it consistently its impossible to get an accurate reading. Ollie weighs 437 in the morning, but in the evening she will often get up above 460 grams!

I hope I did not shrink the attachment too small. These weights were published in a South African bird keeper magazine " Avizandum" - reference
Parrots in Aviculture by Rosemary Louw.

My suns average 110-120, the babies are a little heavier before they fledge.

since valo's such a little guy, i can use a digital food scale (from walmart)... it has a tray on top that PERFECTLY fits those standing perches you can buy at petco... works out beautifully (and was cheap since i had the perch already)

I use a digital food scale that I purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond as well (but my guys are small too). I take a short drinking glass and zero that out and then have my guys step onto the glass (Lulu will step right onto the scale but then her long tail gets in the way of an accurate measurement).

And wow Bee, I was picturing GCs to weigh more than that - Lulu weighs 96 grams, much more than Valo! But the tiels do have more of a robust body than a GC (I call her my little pigeon ).
