Well I just came home from my monthly spending spree at my favorite bird store, Bird Paradise in Burlington, N.J. and I must say Jack has done it again - he's expanded to yet another room in which to withdrawal more $$$ from me! Of course with the fantastic display of toys, cages, and anything you could possibly imagine, it wasn't hard! You could not possibly go through everything in a hour's time - I spent 2 hours there yesterday and still left with the feeling I had not seen it all! I did make 1 mistake though - when I visited the one bird room I went over to where there were several adorable caique babies. I handed one baby a piece of dried fruit and before I knew it several of them had stepped up on my hand! After talking baby talk and drooling all over them I sucked it up and gently detached each and every one of them - promising them they would be getting a wonderful new home real soon.
SOOOOOO, if any of you live in N.J. or close by tri-state area and have not already visited Bird Paradise, I'd say fly right over there - it too can become your favorite bird store!

I wish we had one near here! Sure, we have a few small bird stores, but nothing like that! I wish... too bad I don't live closer!

Someday maybe I'll get a chance to visit the store. I was near it two years ago and didn't make the trek to visit. I've regretted it ever since.

All I can say is that I'm glad I live on the west coast. Dog knows what I'd come out of that store with if I visited! I'm sure the wallet would be several pounds lighter--but the lost weight might be made up by something new and feathered.... :-)
