Sounds like you had a lot of fun. My suns are clipped and I do take them out without harness sometimes, depends where I am going. While they cant fly, they only glide to the ground they could fall off and get trampled or in the truck get sucked out the window. So sometimes I do harness them for certain places especially the supermarket cos Peanut will jump off to investigate the shelves.

I am a member of the recall training group also and I was VERY interested in recall training, I had been learning all I could about it, I am truly amazed by it (the people on there are nice too). I have been letting Jack's wings grow back out too but I think I might have them clipped and will wait to recall train him. If I were to train him, he wouldn't get to use his training as much when I would be in college so I would have to do a lot of retraining, so I will wait (but I will eventually recall train).
