Default Bird Fever

These are a few of the birds at Bird Fever when we went today.

This little Goffin's was sleeping on top of its cage amidst the noise from about 20 or so different birds.

These 2 BTM's had 1 long tail feather between them! They had a blast hanging from the top of their cage by 1 foot & checking out the action.

These baby Grey's were adorable. They kept running after my hand/finger.

This conure has been there a while & I knew the name from when 1 of the newer members joined - she had 1 like this only w/ more red on the throat.

This little guy shared the cage he was in with a baby B&G. I believe he's a Hahn's Macaw.

I dunno what kind of bird this is. Prolly some sort of softbill bird.

The Hahn's started chewing on the B&G's tail - what a stinker! The B&G just kept on with his business.

These little Lories just slept the whole time we were there. I don't know what kind they are.

There were plenty more, but I didn't take very many pix. They had an open topped cage with about 1/2 a dozen baby Tiels who were very friendly & stepped up readily. (You had to fight to keep from having 2 or 3 get on you!)

I believe those lori's are Duyvenbodes. They are the sweetest little birds. Good for big flight areas and shoot poop like crazy. They have the coolest tongues and kiss like crazy. Ive been blessed to handle a few.

As far as Bea's comments, I feel sad seeing them to. Who knows where they will end up.
