I've been thinking about this all dang night now!!! lol I actually want the opinions and constructive criticism of my pictures. It's the only way I can improve my eye. I am limited by the camera, but it a good point and shoot!

I think number 2 is better because of the simple reason, I don't like the perch in the first one. It's not as well "framed" (not sure if that is the right way of describing it), as I think the perch, which sort of goes along the bottom and up the side, is too obstructive and distracts away from the bird a little. I think the pose in the 2nd one is also better. I agree that she looks a little washed out in both of them, but you could fiddle around with that a bit on the computer if you have some sort of software for it. Number one does look cute though.

Ok - now that the perch position was pointed out - I agree & change my vote to #2. Also the ropes behind her make a nice backdrop.

Jim - yes the darker tone is nicer I think.

I'm not very good at messing with the pictures. I don't even try to touch anything to do with color. I'm learning slowly how to lighten or darken a photo slightly. Most the time my camera does the work for me!!

I still think pictue #1 is the nicest.

Yeah they do look better now. Sometimes the slightest thing makes a big difference.
