Default Bella's In Full Swing!

Speaking of a happy grey who's flights are growing in and who is learning some flight skills. I took pictures lastnight and I just LOVE taking them when she's just having a blast playing.

Now, this was a first for her. She climbed down her playstand instead of the fly down method. Her goal was to attack my dad's feet. No pictures but I caught the deed of climbing down. Bella was never one to waddle on the floor but this is changing now that she's begun to fly. This was in true Timneh spirit.

She had a short flight to the dinning room table. I got these after she landed. I tried to get inflights but I was too slow with the camera.

Bella just being herself on her stand. She uses every bit of it now. From the boing to all of the toys on there.

Bella likes to crawl on my computer desk that tends to have things of interest besides the toys in her Greyfeather bucket.

Looks like Bella had a great time. Why do they all like that keyboard so much?

Beautiful pictures, she's always so lovely and looks so happy. In flight shots are so hard to get, but keep trying! It only takes about 500 pics to actually get one

Hi,

I love those pics. She is a cutie. She sure has the freedom to roam around.
I don't let Pepper and Slinky wander around too much, they just get into so much trouble. She sure is spoiled!

Those are some great photos of Bella at play! What a little character. And like Susan asked, what is it about the keyboard that seems to intrigue birds so much? Maybe it's the reaction they get from us whenever we see them on one! LOL

Izzy (aka "the quickest bird on earth") managed to remove 3 keys off my last laptop before I had a chance to stop her -- had turned my back for, quite literally, only a couple of minutes (I swear that bird watches my movements for any opportunity to do what she knows she should not - LOL)! Anyway, she not only removed them, but she snapped off the fastener on the back of them when she pulled them off the keyboard so I could not put them back on. Well, I did not have time to get the keys repaired before I had to take a flight from Detroit. I had airport security all alarmed by the absence of those keys (even though I had put the missing keys in a little baggie and showed them to the guards). They had to do a special search of my hard-drive because they said that missing keys was evidence the computer had been tampered with (yeah, by a bird!) and due to terrorism, they needed to make sure it was not set to trigger a bomb! Tried telling them that my cockatoo pulled the keys off when I wasn't looking and I swear, they thought I made the whole thing up! You should've seen their faces when I tried explaining. LOL The things we go through for our birds!!!!

And, being a larger bird when she sits on the keys she leaves a big mess on any thing of many letters. At least she didn't poop on the monitor.
