This bell may work but may be too big. It really is indestructable except for the chain which Banjo chopped.

Grey feather toys (greyfeathertoys.com) has them-- they use exclusively stainless steel. I think cabirdnerds.com also has them.

How can you Check for a stainless steel bell? I gave Harley Jean jeans giant old bell and a tube one and she doesn't want jack todo with the tube shaped one, only Jean jeans big ol bell. She De-bells her own bells for me so I just take them out once she's done ripping them off. But Jeans bell she hasn't been able to, and I got the bell from Birds Unlimited since all their toys either come from there or petsmart. Are you all sure they'd be pandering unsafe metal in bird toys from trusted retailers like that? I think jeans bell might be stainless she's been at it 2 weeks and can't take it out.

How about 'nickel plated' - I can find that. Safe?

We test any toys with suspicious metals with a tiny drop of muratic acid. If it has zinc in it then it turns black and we toss it. Most places that sell bird toy parts will say what they are. We get some of our parts from California bird nerds. They use stainless and nickel plated

It is used for swimming pools and can be bought at any hardware store. It doesn't cost a lot but only comes in gallon sizes. Here is the link where I found out how to test for it Testing for Zinc in Toys and Gyms
