Default Bathing - how often?

Hi everyone - this is a very basic question to which I'm ashamed I don't have the answer.

Humphrey is, to put it plainly, crap at bathing. She has the instinct and the desire, but not the skill. She tries... She perches on the edge of her bath bowl and flaps pathetically, and just gets her legs a tiny bit wet. It's pathetic! I've tried all shapes of baths for her, including really shallow, and she just doesn't understandthat she has to GET IN.
Here's video evidence if you're interested - I've been told it's pretty funny.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDOQLA6q4Hk

ON the other hand, she HATES being sprayed. It's like she's being tortured. However, after being sprayed, she is sweet and playful, as if she feels really good.

So, my question is - being that I have to spray her for her to get wet, how often does she need a bath?

I try to get Ollie to bathe once a week. Sometimes this means I have to grab her and hold her in the shower stream. She likes to bathe only on her own time!

Most often I hear people bathe their birds once or twice a week.

Sydney and Stirling would bath once a day in the sink if given the chance. Miss Emma is the dirtiest girl I have ever met
She bowl dances a few times a year. Its a real problem to get her to bath, but I think its beacuse of her twisted neck.

Doyle likes to bathe everyday. He actually acts irratated if he doesn't get one and will go at any water he can find. He LOVES to bathe! He sticks his head under the water and runs all around!

Prinny and Danny get baths about once a week. Danny prefers to bathe himself in his water bowl, so he probably gets bath more often then I know.

My guys get showers in the big shower, on their shower perches, once a week. But sometimes Jerry likes to play and bathe when I'm holding the kitchen sink sprayer for him, so sometimes he gets two showers per week.

Big showers get him wetter though, I have to cup my hand and let it fill with water and he jumps in my hand and does a wiggles dance while water bounces off me and then off him and gives him a shower as well - he won't do that in a bowl, he prefers his human "bowl"

Schroeder used to tolerate bathing but has since realized he doesn't have to and now makes a fuss I try to get him bathed at least once a week in the shower or with a squirt bottle but its a struggle.

Our birds do weekly showers. Most of them like it, but the ones who don't, I keep a spray bottle next to their cage so they get used to seeing it. I transition to a full spray by playing with them, one little spray at a time! I do it while they are in their cage. At first they appear not to like it, but they eventually love the warm mist and move to the front of the cage for MORE, MORE, MORE!

Pita gets the spray bottle once or sometimes twice a day. He loves it. He also goes in the shower with me, but just sits on his perch. I have to hold him under the water, which he seems indifferent to, but bring out the spray bottle and BINGO! Wet bird!

The video was cute by the way...lol Silly things, aren't they?

Quito usually takes a bath almost every day. Tausi doesn't, so I have to spray him. He's getting so he doesn't mind it as much as he did at first, but I don't know if he'll ever love it. I wonder if it has something to do with GCC's being from rain forest country, and Red Bellies being from arid Savanah type country?
