Default bald and not so beautiful!

well where do i start?..about 3months ago zuppy started loosing feathers on the top of his head and a tiny bald patch developed.. i got him retested for PBFD and he came back clear.. the vet sugessted i use aloe vera juice in water and spray it on him daily

it cleared up after about 3weeks and all was good ..till 2weeks ago

he now has developed a bald patch on the base of his head and its HUGE the last time you had to ruffle the feathers to see it this time half his head is skin!

he is still getting daily sprays btw , its too high up to be plucking because he just cant reach it and its not PBFD

the vet has said something to me about steriod injections (maybe im wrong) but i thought it was steriod because i remember saying straight out NO to her.. i had a horse who needed steriods and it just caused more problems than it solved

so guys i want to know.. anyone any ideas to help get his feathers back without resorting to injections??

Hi,

Could Zuppy be rubbing his head against a toy or another object to make it feel better? Are you giving him showers several times each week? Maybe this is a temporary thing and it will go away.
