We took Kenobi to the Hut with us today. One, he needed to be fitted for his own Aviator Harness, as Mikey Blue's is way big for him. Two, we knew his new "little sister" was there, so I wanted to see her, and I wanted him to get used to her.

So here we are--Pix of the babies. I hope you enjoy them :-).

2) Is there anything cuter in the entire universe than a baby macaw "sucking" on its toe? I think not!

3) Rowan and Kenobi both perch, lookin' pretty, on Z's arms.

4) Here's 'Nobi, doing his adorable fluffy-head thing :-).

5) When Kenobi has had enough excitement, he flies to his mama for some close snuggles. This pic is just prior to takeoff!

The colors of his feathers are amazing. They almost look like they are painted on.

they are so cute and yes, it's the cutest EVER to see a baby macaw with its foot in its mouth! those aviator harnesses are something else, i will have to pick one up for my baby soon.

Purchased retail at the store, I believe the smaller size (which Mikey Blue and Ceilidh sleep on at night, and is a good all-round size for birds up to CAGs and Amazons ) runs $100. The larger, properly macaw-sized hoopball runs $150. Deb makes them for the store, and if you're local, you might want to contact her for the "wholesale" price. I don't think she ships, though. I have no idea whether the store does, and if so, what it costs.
