Hi
I am not familiar with Australian ringnecks. Asian/Indian ringnecks are fine to be kept together in a colony situation. How big is the aviary you intend to keep them in? If you are intending adding more birds it is best to introduce females to the males cage as the females are bossy and may beat up on the boys. African ringneck or Alexandrine parrots will also do well together. If your aviary is large enough similar like size conure type birds wont be a problem. This would be an aviary about the size of a room. The birds also need to be flighted.
Great care must always be taken when introducing new birds with regard to diseases. Quarantine is a must. The cage needs to be fairly large to mix more than one pair of anything, if we are talking indoor type cage situation even 2 birds in one cage can only happen if the birds are friends first.
Edited to add.
I have just looked up
Australian Ringneck - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia so they would most probably need to be kept with other inside the same genus. I am familiar with the rose ringed parrot Psittacula krameri (IRN).
