I live about two hours south of Los Angeles, I'd be willing to pick up a baby for someone who lives farther away.

I got my dog from the La Shelters, its really sad just going in to rescue her we over heard so many workers rattling off the dogs and cats theyd euthanized that day.

Good morning! Sorry it's taken me so long to get online. I'm obviously worn out, 'cause here it is, 11:30 am, and I've only just now crawled out of bed. Every so often, this body just says, "Enough!", and I am forced to sleep..... I'm still feeling rather out of it, and if experience is anything to go by, I'll be back in bed in a couple of hours.

Anyway, Dan called me about 11 pm last night while we were out to dinner (yes, late--my youngest is in a play, and we were busy with all that dress rehearsal stuff). The birds' owners have a coworker coming over to look at the birds today. If that someone decides s/he doesn't want the birds, Dan will let me know. I hope this doesn't upset anyone, and I pray that the person coming to see the birds is knowledgeable about them, and isn't just coming forward because they're big, pretty birds being given away for free.

I'll let you know what is decided about the birds as soon as I know.
