Default Adding Machine Paper-what kind????

I know I have read that adding machine paper can be alot of fun for the birds. However, I also remember reading that there is a certain type you should get. I recall that something is not good for them in a specific brand, I think?

Could someone please give me some insight into this. Thank you.

Not thermal- it contains ink. I just get normal adding machine paper from Staples.

Nancy - Lucky Bird has a line of toys that houses the adding machine tape. The small one would be good for Kira. I can show you when you are next in. They have fun but they sure do make a mess of their cage!

This site has some really nice paper roll toys. And the money helps support a bird rescue.

Cool, thanks for posting this link, Jeannie. I just bought a case of the adding machine paper rolls and had no idea there was something to be concerned about. Not thermal here so I'm giving it a try!

I just stuck a roll on top of everyone's cage and weaved a piece through to get them started. So far, Rico and Molly are having a hay day with it!

Thanks for all the ideas everyone.
