I thought it might be fun to start a thread about some little funny quirks that your bird or birds do. I will start!

Seymour- GW Macaw
1) Seymour says Hello like a creepy old man! It's kind of scary!
2) He eats everything...including the kitchen table...Bad boy!
3) He is a complete mama's boy!
4) He is very smart and can do puzzles and can take a part anything!
5) He caused over 700 dollars of damage in about 10 minutes by ruining the zippers on 2 North Face coats and chewing up 2 sets of keys...

Captain Jack-Scarlet Macaw
1) He is a Daddy's boy!
2) During dinner he likes to sit on Lance's head!
3) He speaks in a girly voice and laughs like me!
4) He is a very good talker and learns new words quickly!
5) He can play fetch/ball very well!

I won't do all of ours but a couple LOL!

Ginger~M2

1. Cleans her own cage, makes squirt sound and wipes it off or mimicks the
steamer.
2. Places little pieces of her toys on her shoulder, opens her wing to preen
when the piece falls she catches it and starts over.

Sylvester~E2

1. Drinks his water from a tiny acryllic mug and places it on his perch when
done.

Roarke~GW

1. Trying to sing Old MacDonald he sounds like warped opera!

Boca-Cag

1. Speaks spanish as well as english.
2. Claimes his name is really Boca Diaga
3. Has a very pretty womans voice as well as a very deep mans voice.
4. Says bad words.
5. Has a vocabulary of at least 64 words.

Laker the Budgie
1- rattles his metal clip like a convict on the cage bars, if his millet is eaten.
2- He will whittle the 1" Millet sprig until there's only the stick in the clip.
3- If there's a loud noise he will get very excited & use Budgie curses & shout.
4- His favourite place to bite & reprimand me is the soft side of my right thumb.
5- If we are laughing he will join in with his version.

Here's a few tidbits on my 4..

Chuckie:
1) He's a water bowl pooper..
Daisy:
1) Obsessed Nose Picker..
Max:
1) Dog Dive Bomber. The dog has a nervous tick now..
Mat:
1) Diet Cheat, Food Begger and with Hormones raging nothing
is safe from the "Amazon" love dance.

Jack- B&G
1.hangs from top of cage with just his beak when he wants out of his cage
2.knows how to open the top part of his cage, get out and destroy EVERYTHING
3.loves listening/dancing/mumbling to music
4.says hello in several different tones/pitches (sometimes we think someone is actually saying hello, its quite scary sometimes)
5.he thinks he's a cockatoo and loves to just cuddle

Pita...my little Pian In The Ass (get it...p i t a)

1) Quacks like a duck ( I think he picked it up when I boarded him)

2) He's a habitual dunker. Dunks everything in his water before eating it.

3) Says "I'm a good boy" when ever he poops...anywhere!

4) Shorted out my PC monitor by pooping on it, then looked at me and said ...yup, you guessed it.."I'm a good boy"

5) Likes to sit inside my shirt, and laugh......hhmmmmm

I'll just do Calvin.... I broke a nail and can't type, so I will leave the rest of the gang for another tiime!

Calvin sleeps with me (I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS). Yes, he lays all the way down and puts his hot head on my neck (works wonders with my hot flashes)
He's totally potty trained
He gets up when I get up and comes in the bathroom and takes a shower with me
I have taught him to scratch my back with his beak
He has a wonderful vocabulary at 15 years old: Hello, Calvin and HUH?
When I talk to him he opens his beak like HE is talking but no sound comes out
He is one very unusual macaw and I love him dearly!

lol...God I love these birds

OK, I will do Chaska first and the others bit by bit.

1. She can imitate my laugh exactly. She should, with all the crazy discussions I get into, she hears it often enough!

2. She hates my laptop and if I don't watch her like a hawk, she will turn around and poop on the keyboard on purpose!

3. She is very jealous of me and doesn't like me to pay attention to other birds. She isn't jealous of my husband though, I guess humans don't count?

4. She can say "Hello Baby" and "Silly Quaker".

5. She speaks "tiel" fluently, fakes me out everytime!
