Default 3D parrot Game for kids and Adults

I've gotten going on my movie project, but for now he wants us to focus on gaming so again I have to shuffle my stuff....

Anyway onto what I wanted to bring up *Ahem*

I meantioned this to Hycanith in trade I could make her a little 3D game for her to take around and play with on her PC while she was away from Ivy if that ever happens lol. But then I realised briefly after that I could make a game thats like pokemon/viva pinata/tamagochi with parrots. As for the objective of the game I'll have to think about it BUT, the main goal would be the same and for those of us who don't have giant budgets but still wish we had that other bird then we could have the bird, in another sense. The question is though... What birds should we have in the game?

PLEASE do not let this be like my movie thread where no one posts what birds they want to see in the game. I've already got a decent idea where the objective's going to be and how to win and so forth, I just want to know what characters you want to see in the game.

These are my thoughts for what I'm going to do thus far:

Yes there will be different places you can raise your bird family

There will be challanges

You will raise your bird from chick to adult

You can breed, or trade your parrots

You will have to defend your parrots/home from "Situations"

You will have to provide toys by winning games with your parrots to accumulate points, the more games you play with him and points you earn, the cooler toys and so forth you'll get.

More to come.

ALSO...if this game is to be successful I may be in the neighborhood to look for voice actors.....so if any of your birds are very vocal and you'll like to hear them in the game...if you send me sound bytes, I'd be more than happy to let you beta test the games in december before I put them up for download. I am going to need at least 3 Beta testers...One must be male, One must be female, and one must be a bird. (or a child) hopefully one from the older age group, the adult age group, and the child persuasion etc so I can see how the game works for each of you. So...LET ME KNOW!

Well, I would think the main objective with the birds would be to be colorful. Don't know how detailed you planned on being with them, but you'd probably want Hys, Scarlets, some sort of Zon (for bright green), Greys, Suns, and a selection of Budgie colors. My advice would be to stay away from Toos, unless you're going to model their behavior realistically.

As far as voices go, it's often hard to understand exactly what birds are saying on recordings, so you might want to get some bird recordings for models, but then have humans imitate them for the actual voice acting, for clarity.

A blue Parrotlet [jumping on a Hy ha ha].

A singing Canary. There are a bunch of different interesting kinds of canaries.

a Toucan

And please if possible, no trades! LOL too much like real life.

Hey that sounds cool Tinna. If there is anything we (me, Rob, or our little guy {he's 7}) can help with, just let us know!

Sounds like a lot of fun! You are so creative.

I'd love to see some recordings of the behavior and mannerisms of anyone's birds who'd like to demonstrate for me. I was planning on a Cockatoo pet in there (not sure which subspecies) and I intend to make the behaviors as accurate as possible.... just keep in mind though it's just me working on the game! XD So....at best I can promise through the beta tests... it'll be ready by next christmas to wow the grand kids..... BTW I have another post to put up in a day or two about Data....you won't believe Jean's reaction. My god you'd think she was his baby. Yeah I'm saying she because mom's been calling him a her, and it conflicts with me calling him a him......he kissed her, groomed her, and put up with her biting the snot out of him (she can't bite to save her life) and I did have my hands there and I did watch them prior to putting them together.....but it was kinda like watching a parent welcoming an adopted child into the family, he let her know it was okay to be nice to me.

ANYWAY before I spoil more of that, I have been eyeing Cassy's Hawkhead.....maybe for like bonus points you can get one....but that depends on if she's gonna send me videos of her behaviors and her verbal speakings.

BTW, who wants to beta test in 6 weeks? I should have the beta with at least 5 species up, you can view the basic animations then, I should be at the 12th week of this with commands put in so you can give your bird fruits, get them to dance, talk, etc.

BTW...I cried tonight when mom left me.....I miss my mom I want to go home I miss being a kid. ;_;
