Thanks Guys!!!!
I actually called my mom to let her know as well, and she said, it seemed like yesterday. I even rattled off the names of all the budgies I had ,and in what order....., Tweety did live a long time....Because she was such a wonderful companion, I thought all birds were like her! But soon found out, she was really a one of a kind.......
Ok, here is something I dont often share. but Tweety died in 86. I went out to buy a stuffed tweety the day she died so I had a reminder of her. I still have that tweety in my bed each night,

and BOY, does Geo hate it! It's eyes are rubbed off and it looks possesed. ITs not even yellow anymore.

I also will not travel without it. So, if I ever stay at anyones house, you can guarentee, I'll whip that tweety out of my pocketbook! That Tweety has been every place I have been to stay since that day in 86.
Kinda a security blanket I guess.

I cant sleep if its not within reach.
