I have many Gouldian finches and I am counting the babies from this season too. There is about 35, or so, of them all together. I also have two pairs of ex-breeder Lovebirds and two pairs of ex-breeder Cockatiels. |

Skye came in desperate need of a home and Sweetie was a baby with lot's of potential homes...so, when the time came and he was weaned I forfeited my deposit and let him go to another home. No need for a male in my household of female IRN's anyway |

Ingrid -
I have 8 Indians, 1 African, 1 Derbyan, 3 Plumheads, 1 Parrotlet, 1 Yellow Collar and 16 Tiels.
Tiels and Ringies are my Heart, but I love the macaw personality and my fiesty little parrotlet. Then again - there aren't too many birds I don't love.
The YC and one Tiel are new additions. The Tiel was given to me by a friend of mine - still being handfed and the YC kind of replaces my hahns - as much as that can happen anyway. |

Oh, btw, Deb--Mikey did fine last night. Ate like a piggy and didn't throw it back up. Still had food in his crop at bedtime (not surprising, as he'd been eating < 1/2 hour before lights-out). Also got email update on Blue :-). | I don't understand this eye-candy thing. Does that mean they are more colorful? I guess my Miligold would be concidered eye-candy then. The pics of her do not do her justice...she has beautiful hues of turquois & blues along with the greens and gold. |

#19 | | | I don't usually count birds. I count cages. It doesn't sound like as much work that way or as many birds that way.
Cages- 1 Sun Conure, 1 Jenday Conure, 1 Hahn's Macaw, 1 Green Cheek and Peach Front Conure, 1 Parrotlet, 1 Parrotlet, 1 pair of Parrotlets, 1 Caique,
1 four Canaries, 1 two Cockatiels and five Budgies, 1 eleven assorted Finches, 1 four Java Finches
35 birds but only 12 cages.
Only 8 birds that we interact with. |
