TERRY the homeless parrot is making an impassioned squawk for a loving new perch.
The lonely blue-fronted Amazon, described as “a people’s parrot”, has become withdrawn after his owners gave him up for adoption.
Terry, aged three, is for sale at £350 at Little Beasties in North Lonsdale Terrace, Ulverston. He was taken to the pet shop to be re-homed after his owners’ circumstances changed, but he is missing human companionship. Little Beasties owner, Mandy Christopher, said: “Terry is a lovely parrot but he’s become very shy. He will perk up when he gets to know a new owner. “Parrots are very loving creatures and need lots of human attention.”For more information about Terry telephone Little Beasties on 01229 582220.Beasties in North Lonsdale Terrace, Ulverston.
