well, I'm driving 2 and half hours for this, and I'm getting more and more excited as it comes. Getting out of the house is gonna do me some good, but you guys have to be friends and keep me from bringing home a baby scarlet macaw ...

I was there last week and they had two nice scarlets.......I played with the female for a bit, really sweet baby! You can just look right?

There are so many special birds there. Of all sizes, too. I'm not even a Macaw person and kept looking at a Blue Throated guy last night. You just can't go by the cage without the Blue Throated wanting your attention very outgoing and you can tell he's got a couple weeks on his cagebuddy. He's with majbirds baby! Who is ALL BABY so cute. MaJ he was so sweet, the poor guy looked ready for lights out but it wasn't quite time yet.

The blue Amazon is going to be alot of fun. Nothing gets past her... reminds me of my Piper. A serious bird for a serious caretaker that's for sure. I love the dorkiness of all parrot babies but Dorky is one adjective that would never apply to that girl! (Piper was never dorky either but Toby still is) LOL
