Dana, Just know that we are all thinking of you. I am praying for a break in the weather. This is very scary stuff.

We're all good here. I was actually comfortable enough to come to work and stay here all day today. The winds have died, and there are so many resources here now I don't think there's any way more homes will go up.

The fires aren't out,... but they are now well on their way to being contained. The evacuation area that's in crest (the one near me) should be let back in soon.

Thank you all for your concern!

That's great news Dana. Such sadness on the news for all that was lost but I have admired all the people I saw interviewed, who feel so blessed for what they could save and for having their families safe. We even got to see a piece about all the animals and how the evacuation areas told them to be sure to bring their pets to safety.

I think we're totally out of danger from this one..... the firefighters are running out of fire to fight so they're all heading up to pendleton, over to Julian, and down the the one close to us.

San Diego really has done an impressive job for the most part. Citizens and authorities.

I am extra impressed with how accomodating they have been for pets. They were mentioned every other word during the crisis.
