Minnesota Residents: Keep Wild Animals out of the Circus
On August 8, the Minneapolis City Council will consider whether or not to prohibit wild animal circuses, when it holds a hearing and a final vote on the Animal Protection Amendment. Wild animal circuses are inherently unsafe and cannot provide humane conditions for their captive animal performers. If passed, the Animal Protection Amendment will be a major step toward making Minneapolis a safe and humane city.
Please help make Minneapolis the largest American city to prohibit wild animal circuses.
What You Can Do
1. Attend the public hearing.

By attending the hearing, you’ll show the Public Safety and Regulatory Services Committee that Animal Protection Amendment has the strong support of compassionate citizens like you.
