Today marks six months since Parrot Chatter was launched! It's been a busy and exciting time, and we have grown in so many ways. Tomorrow we mark another milestone, when Bee (Moirana) presents The Gabriel Foundation with a check for $3,000.00 from our Sanctuary Bird Sponsorship Program. This is a sparkling example of what our members are made of, and what we all believe. It is far from the only example though.

We have shared many laughs and many tears. The antics of our feathered companions have lightened many a day, and we have wept while we shared the loss of one of those we hold so dear, and we hope that our fellowship has been of some comfort at those times. We have shared in the excitement and elation of welcoming home a new baby, or so very special, the welcoming home of a "second chance" bird. And what about the enthusiasm and joy at the news of a breakthrough? It is a sense of accomplishment and pride unmatched when "step-up" is finally learned, or "he's not biting anymore, I think he actually likes me"!

Thanks to you, our membership continues to grow every day. Thanks to you, Parrot Chatter has been able to make life better for at least ten birds in sanctuary at the Gabriel Foundation. Thanks to you, Parrot Chatter will continue to strive to be the best and most comprehensive source of information for bird owners around the globe. On behalf of the entire staff at Parrot Chatter, Thank You for making that all possible.

Happy Anniversary! We all have ups and downs but I still feel extremely confident that this board has the most potential for success - what we've done thus far for the Gabriel Foundation shows that we've already achieved an enormous success - it will only grow from there.
