Default Falling tree kills parrot hunter

Another accident, this time in rural Belize, has cost a teen his life. Police reports are that on Sunday evening Rockstone Pond residents sixteen year old Edison Zelaya and twenty-five year old Terryl Cunha were hunting for parrots near Maskall Village. During their search, the duo spotted a nest and proceeded to chop down the tree it was in. But before they could say timber, the tree got tangled in the branches of another nearby tree and when it belatedly fell, hit Zelaya. The youth received severe injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at the K.H.M.H. A post-mortem examination has been scheduled, but police do not suspect foul play. It is illegal to hunt and keep parrots as pets.

... and yet another example of how education could have saved this young mans life not to mention the uncounted numbers of Parrots that have been taken by him and his compatriots in this crime.
They do these things out of need, so ... if you take away the illness, you remove the symptoms and the illness here is poverty and lack of education and a lack of simple hope.

It's a whole different way of life for these people - I neither condemn nor condon what they do in order to survive. It is by the grace of God that we are privileged to live the way we do.
