Pollie just joined our family.
She is 13 years old, her owner passed away.
Soon she will be getting a new cage.

Welcome Polly! Arty you have quite a few Quakers now, she'll be in good company. Are they a species that will interact among each other as a social flock in captivity, like I see them do in the wild. As an example, if you had a big room that you could turn into a bird room, would they all be able to live cage free and fly together and get along?

well, during meal times, (birds everywhere) when we eat, when the Quakers do get close to each other there is mild pecking and fighting.
We have never housed any of them together, (vet bills) prevent us from taking that risk.
Rose and I have 5 Quakers now, thats 5 in a very small kitchen during each meals...

I would never have it any other way!!!
