Default Does your Macaw whistle?

I have only heard Kady whistle once or twice and to the best of my knowledge Kita has never whistled. Is this something that Macaws generally do..or no?

Of our 7, Casey our little Hahns is the only one who whistles. She will wolf whistle and a few more .She actually whistles alot. You would think one of the others would pic it up but oh no they only learn the bad potty mouth stuff from eachother

Ruby hasn't whistled yet. I don't generally whistle for her though. Gipper (tag) was the greatest of whistlers and we whistled all the time - complete songs!- it still makes me sad to whistle so Ruby may not learn to.

Winged Victory does on occasion, but Shadow is the coolest whistler.

Ok this is kind of funny.. but Roy associates speaking to the cockatiels with blowing kisses and whistles. Trouble is he is REALLY ROTTEN at whistling! So instead he makes these high-pitched squeals and blows a lot of air with his tongue extended out as far as he can. For the longest I had no idea what he was doing, one day it kind of clicked and I felt awful for not praising him on his efforts sooner Now whenever he "whistles," I whistle normally back.. gets him very happy indeed. The cockatiels think he's as scary as ever, though

Come to think of it no Charro does not whistle and he does not care for others whistling either he is known to lunge in attack mode at anyone who whistles at him.

He however does have a strange habit of vibrating his words he has really picked it up more since our small little earthquake like when going down a bumpy road and getting the vibration with words Charros fave vibration word is now B a a a a a a a d.
