Default I am so proud of Keke

I am not sure if I said that Keke is not really socialized with people and living in the country we don't have many close neighbors along with the cold and snow it is hard to get her to see many people. Well with the record warm temp we have been taking her outside. Leo is proud of his new baby so shows her off when ever possible. He took her to the neighbor's and they take care of developmentally challenged adults. Well one of the young men who loves Leo wanted to see the bird and asked if he could touch her. Leo was a little worried as he didn't want her to bite him but the most amazing thing happened she lowered her head and let him pet her. It was like she knew that he doesn't have any bad intentions. The kid across the road asked if they could see the bird and Leo took Keke out they made no attempt to touch her but she again lowered her head and after Leo told them to approach her slowly she allowed the to touch her they were very good and asked if she could fly well she can't right now but told them when she gets her flight feather in they could come and watch. I am so proud of my spoiled unsocialized baby. We had to have her clipped as the person who clipped her before we got her really hacked her wings. She isn't really comfortable in the front of the house and hates the sound of cars but has fun in the backyard. We are looking forward to seeing her fly someday and have field behind our house and are friends with the owner so can use in the summer. So what is the best way to introduce her to people? We camp in the summer and I just know having Keke Leo will be like the pied piper during the summer. We also want her to be ok with people. Simon is such a familiar sight at the campground and while I am sure that Keke will learn some from him any other suggestions will help make her summer vacation enjoyable. We were also thinking of a small kids pools for splashing around in the hot weather (thoughts).

We are so proud of you Keke! What a good bird you are! Birds are so amazing in the way they can sense things.
