Red face Rio's training has taken a turn

I've been focusing on Rio a bit more. We've been communing. I take advantage of his lone times & wander over to chat. This morning I was trying out letting my hand just rest beside him.

He loves my fingers.

I know it is Spring & he is daily 'visiting' his woven toy [paramour] to love it up - but - he has now fallen in love/lust with my fingers.

I rested my hand on the headboard of my bed & he pursued it all the way to my knee [I was sitting on the bed] & gave my fingers quite the display. I thought his little eyes would explode they were pinning so hard. Maybe I'll put off the lessons until Spring is over...............

Why is nothing simple?

Updates are good! I can picture him getting so excited That is interesting that he's so fascinated with your fingers - what does he do, does he bite or do something else (undesirable lol)? Sometimes Jerry does this weird thing where he very quickly runs his beak and tongue over my hands, sort of like he's preening me. He's very gentle about it.

He was very polite.
Rio faced my fingernails - beaked them endlessly [running his beak up my nail & also tapping the nail] & did an elaborate song. He puffed up 'all' his head feathers to the max & his eyes pinned so hard that the black was smaller than the head of a pin. I didn't let it continue - no point in bringing heartbreak. My fingers are not in the market.

Good update, maybe he will feel more sociable after breeding season with the undesirable doings.
