Default What a night!!!!!!!

I had a heck of a night last night. I wont go into so much detail but, I am sure you all have heard me talk about my friends with the blue and gold and the scarlett macaws. Well last night my friends officially called there relationship done with. Our male friend, went a little crazy. Started talking about killing himslef. He was really drunk. So far we dont know how the scarlett is doing. Jessica could only take gracie the blue and gold with her because it was her bird. Gabby wasnt so she had to leave her there with him acting like crazy. He started stabbing the walls and just acted flat like a nutcase. My friend Jessica had to get out. she was in fear of her life and gracie's and her dog's. I wanted to post this for two reasons please pray for this situation and someone tell me what I can do to get that bird out of his hands before he kills her. I hope she is ok. Jessica was so worried he would not feed her or he might kill her. He said that he wanted to sell her and the cage for $2000. I was wondering if anyone on here that lived close to MI would take up on the offer for gabby's sake. I am in fear of her life. I was just hoping and praying for her life and for his life too. He may have lost it last night but, when he is sober, things might be a little better. I dont know he is so mad at my husband and I for helping Jessica move out. I will go into the details later. We have some things to do this morning. So please just pray for this and if someone can get gabby out of this situation by buying her it would be much appreciated. She is only 2 and a half years old. She is pretty tame. I have pictures of her so if anyone is interested please post a thread on here saying so and an email address. Jessica offered to take her but he said not enless she had $2000 and she doesnt. I will update you guys a little later once I find out how gabby is doing.

I hope your friend is going to a shelter.
I use to work with abused women and children. Please let her know how important it is for her to get help.

I hope she can get the bird out. I hate to say this, (most have heard the story already) Libby, my Tags first owner was a young woman who was going through a nasty situation with her husband. One day when the girl was gone, her husband shot two of the three birds she had...Libby was the sole surviver.

I had another thought on this. Take a policeman with you and an already cancelled check for 2000 dollars and get that bird out of there!

Your friend has all of our prayers.I don't think there is much you can do to get the bird away from him.If you bring in the authorities at all ,it could only make him madder and I don't think they would remove the bird anyways.Prices maybe higher up your way,I don't know, but I can't imagine anyone paying $2000 for a rehomed bird.I hope the situation resolves itself before any harm comes to anyone.

So far the bird is ok. I just hope everything works out. I am still really worried though. Our male friend and the scarlett was fine yesterday. I hope he remembers to feed her and I think the power is off. I hope the bird doesnt freeze. I will let you know more later. But, please pray this situation is not out of the woods yet. I mean Jessica gracie the blue and gold and her dog are doing just fine now. She just doesnt want to go back to the appartment untill later. The male I keep refering to is doing alright as of yesterday. I am still not sure of what the outcome will be for him or the scarlett. He texted my husband tonight so that means he is now talking to us. Maybe we will find out more tomarrow. I hope so. ~Jenna

The $2000 would be for the bird which is only 2 and a half years old and a $700 cage. It is a very nice cage only baught 6 months ago brand new. Its fairly large too. If anyone has talked to me on here, they probably know that its a big cage cause I refer to cage stuff alot cause I want a blue throated macaw later. When I get a job and after we build onto our house to make some room. This is why I can not take the bird although I bet she would be perfect with us cause she knows us, we just cant right now so someone please try to find someone who will or someone close to MI or even OH cause we live on the boarder of OH. The sooner she gets a home the less I have to worry about her. Than there is our male friend. God I just hope one day he gets put in jail. I know that sounds absolutly horrible and I know he is our friend, but the other night he was talking suicide. At least if he was in jail, he would have a roof over his head, food in his belly, electricity and they would probably send him to a mental hospital for help which is exactly what he needs. He would also have to stop drinking which is a majority of his problems now. Right now he has no way of supporting himslef and will probably be homeless very soon because Jessica was paying his bills including the electric company. She got sick of him drinking and when he got drunk he would hurt her mentally and physically. She just couldnt take it anymore. She called my husband in tears the other night because she was scared of him. He kept saying that he was going to slit her throat and kill himslef. He even told my husband that the bullet going through his head would have my husbands name on it because he was helping Jessica move. Its a horrible situation. Things are calming down for now that is why Gabby the macaw has to find a home soon. Very soon, to ensure that he doesnt loose his mind again and something happens to her. She can talk alot, no curse words though. She says step up, hi baby, hello, hi gabby, i love you, gabby girl and a lot more. She also loves cielling fans. Its a bit of a fansination with them. She watching them and talks to them. She is absolutly beautiful and very loving. More so with females than with males. She is a sweetie and I would hate to find her dead or to hear of her dieing because someone wont buy her. The thing is, is that our male friend wont give her away because he needs the money to survive himself. If he is going to pay rent and have electricity than he will have to get money some how. Right now she is like a meal ticket to him, so he wont just let her go, he would rather see her die than to just give her away. I wish if he does choose to give her up, I hope she goes with Jessica cause she loves those birds. She crys because she had to leave Gabby there with him. She ask my husband the other day if she just went in the appartment and took her if he could press charges on her because he has no real proof that she is his. She wants to make sure Gabby gets a home. She just doesnt have $2000. My husband and I dont either. The only thing we can do is check on her, pray and have hope that our male friend will do the right thing. So please if you can help save Gabby by buying her or giving me another option to help save her please write on here. If you are a lawyer or police officer tell me what I can do or what Jessica can do to help save her. What is the legal limits. Can Jessica take her or not. Cause it was part hers too but he wouldnt let her leave with both birds. ~Jenna
