How old is she? are you her first home? is she a DNA'd female? what kind of macaw is she? did anything change in your house or her enviroment about the time she started acting differently? do you have other birds in the house? | |

They do that on the fleshy cheek pads under the eye when they are excited. The feathers sound fine though. Does it look like she is plucking any extras or are they just falling out along with down? Any bald patches?
Your pics may need to be cropped to fit. Are you getting a message when you try to load them?
