Default Brave Sugar

Only took Sugar a year of watching Spice on his swing but Sugar finally got on the swing. In fact tonight Spice got on one swing and Sugar the other. This is the first time that has happened. You could tell Sugar had to get up his courage but he finally took the plunge and stepped on that scary swing.
I am so proud of him!!!!!!!!

That's wonderful! Way to go Sugar!

Did he have any trouble getting off?

Its so wonderful when they try something they thought impossible. Unfortunately I didn't note the 1st time Laker tried out the Hibiscus tree. Until Rio tried it he wouldn't even stay on my hand when I stood beside the tree, let alone touch the leaves - it used to make me a bit sad. Now I'm thrilled he goes there on his own. So I know how exciting these things can be.

It's so cool when they finally decide to try the thing you bought thinking they were going to love! I left a swing in Fiona the GCC's cage for over 3 months and she never once got on it. Yet on the porch she loves to be on the swing hanging from a ceiling chain -go figure!

It is cute when they get brave enough to try new things.

Way to go, Sugar, that's so exciting! Winston will not get on swings either, so I can imagine your delight!

Last night when I covered them up Spice jumped on one swing and Sugar very carefully stepped on the other. They were both still there in the morning. All I could say was "AWWWWWW"

That is pretty cute. Is this to be a new nightly ritual?

Mine don't have a swing - never thought to buy one...........
