poor aul girl... she has 35 days left before shes due to foal and shes starting to seriously drop in the belly.. if she was a human i could see her with the tummy out hand on the small of her back complaining about her bladder lol

for a horse that used to love to gallop through the 50 acres she has at her disposal shes now happier just walking round eating all day in the 5acre paddock instead of going anywhere else.. think we will both be happy when this foal is out and on the ground!

the photo was taken at the end of January so you can imagine the size of that belly now lol

Oh she's lovely.

Hope all goes well with the foaling. With humans - when the baby drops its any time there in, before the big day. 35 days seems like a long wait.

Give her a nice hug for me.

I expect to see baby photos.

oh yeah but the foals like babys do most of the growing at the end rather than in the middle of the pergnancy lol 35days is nothing really... although i do think she will foal early i doubt it will be untill april.. in saying that come next monday ill be going up to her twice or 3times a day to check.. her uder has still yet to fill so it will be a while..


oh and horses have been known to go up to over a month overdue!!

Oh what a beauty! I can smell her from here! Ummm! I just love horses and had 2 when I was a teen. Still can drum up the smells and memories. Please be sure and send photos of the baby!

i took photos today and lord shes huge.. still got a few weeks left to go and shes in a bad mood... think shes depressed about loosing her figure, i have to drag her back up the hill to the fields instead of her dragging me up.. she just wants this thing out and now i think

Mud & Horses - I swear they're worse than pigs! I had a B&W pinto - lovely old girl, but the touches of brown were a bit off putting.
