They are both lovely & I can see the temptation to breed them.
But I'd encourage you to resist if you can.
Regarding taking photos when the birds are in the cage. I have had good shots when I put the camera lens right up to the bars & make sure the lens can't 'see' the bars.
e.g. - sorry this is so large ... you can see one bar is kind of out of focus, on the right side.
Another Budgie enthusiast pointed out that he didn't like to see the horizontal & vertical tilted in any way as it distracts from the bird. [hope you know what I mean here - just photo talk] Ever since I've tried to keep those pretty straight - even when the perspective is more extreme.
Thanks for posting photos of them. It's good to see them. I think a number of members also have Budgies but they're perhaps more concerned with the 'issues' of the larger birds. Maybe they too have difficulty capturing their beauty thru bars.
