Tanks was recently injured, he sustained a serious beak injury.
Tanks was taken to the emergency hospital where he was stablized.
He then went to his regular vet and xrays were taken, the pictures were placed before a raptor surgeon.
It was decided the beak could be fixed, Tanks had 3 different surgeons working on him.
Long story short, Tanks lost a part of his beak, but after being wired shut the beak has re-grown together with good blood flow restored.
The wire was removed from his Jaw last week, for the last month Rose Ann and her Tanks have been under much stress.
Tanks went from 128 grams down to 98 grams during hand feeding.
He was weighed this morning and he is back up to 126 grams.
He was kept in a aquarium for over a month, now he is back in his cage, perky as ever.

I still have to upload some pictures of Tanks while in his beak was in a cast.
