I work 8 hours, 5 days/week. Is it ok to give my ekkie a bath at 4:30 PM? if not, any suggestions so he can get his bath more often.

Generally speaking, earlier is better. But as long as he has plenty of time to dry well before bed time, it should be fine. Depends on how early he goes to bed. Quito bathes herself in her water dish, and often has a bath right around 4:30. They go to bed around 6:45, and she's always well dried by then. She's a pretty active little girl and is always in motion. The main thing is to avoid drafts.

Ollie dries easily in an hour, but that is because I'm lucky if I can get her even 25% wet. Like Nate said, make sure there are no drafts that could get to him.

i'll probably try putting a dish in her cage and see if he'll take a bath on his own. thank you guys.
