Owner climbs on to a roof to catch his beloved bird
A plumbing and heating engineer had to be rescued by firefighters on Monday, after climbing on to a roof to rescue his beloved pet parrot.
Hass Mustafa, of J&H Plumbing, was horrified when his blue and gold macaw escaped outside his home in Bloomfield Avenue, Luton, yesterday afternoon.
The beautiful bird, named Macauley, suddenly flew out of his owner’s grip and Mr Mustafa had no choice but to follow in hot pursuit in his van.
