| Re: <Video> Physical exam of a Black Palm Cockatoo I was able to watch this video yesterday and very much enjoyed Dr. Perry who is very calm and gentle with his handling techniques. I thought it was a great point that using the words "calm" and "thank you" worked to quiet the bird because birds can feel your emotions not necessarily understand the words. One other point he brings out is that it is difficult for a vet to calm a bird if the owner is upset in the office. Thx for finding this, Karen. | |||||||||||||||||||||
